Glove love: Accessories at your fingertips

Gloves are far more than a fashionable accessory; they’re a fashion statement in themselves. But they come into their own in an appropriate setting, where they can be so much more than protection for chilly fingers – even if that function is a supreme advantage in winter. LLOYD Leather Gloves are an ideal opportunity to prove you have style at your fingertips. Their supple hair sheep leather, expressive colours and sophisticated decorative seaming offer eye-catching good looks, while their warm lining makes them cosy companions in cold weather.

To make the most of stylish gloves, team them with Sixties-style blazers with three-quarter sleeves, or with trendy capes or casual parkas – being sure to turn up the cuffs to showcase the gloves to their best effect. While it’s clear that these gloves are hardly suited to a snowball fight, we advise treating them with impregnation agent in all cases, because Water Protect is also an effective shield against dirt and soiling.

Extra tip

To measure your glove size, pass a tape-measure around the widest part of the hand – usually around or just below the knuckles, omitting the thumb. Right-handers should measure their right hand, left-handers their left. A measurement of approx. 16.5–17 cm is equivalent to a women’s international glove size of S, 18–19 cm is M, while 20.5–22 cm is L, and any larger will require XL.
